Family
At Fellowship Hall, chemical dependency is treated as a family illness. Families affected by the disease of chemical dependency experience a great deal of stress, and their unsuccessful attempts to deal with this pressure often result in feelings of frustration and hopelessness.

As a result, family members repress feelings and develop coping mechanisms that create dysfunctional patterns.

Families and friends need education and support to restore self-respect, trust and hope in order to enjoy more productive lives. Fellowship Hall's Family Program will give participants a better understanding of the dynamics of chemical dependency within a family. Goals of the program include enhanced communication, strengthened relationships and defined roles and values. Family members or significant others affected by chemical dependency are encouraged to participate in this program.
