Programs / Extended Treatment
Extended Treatment at Fellowship Hall supports and furthers the recovery work completed in our primary treatment program. The purpose of extended treatment is to establish a strong foundation in the 12 Step Program with a shared emphasis on relapse prevention, as well as a focus on underlying issues that can endanger early recovery. This program offers structured therapeutic treatment with activities designed to address issues on an individualized treatment plan. In addition to individual, group and family counseling, other programming includes education on topics such as the 12 Steps, shame, trauma, grief, relationships, socialization skills, family and spirituality. Additional activities include relaxation, meditation and yoga classes, a physical and recreational activities program and daily attendance at AA/NA meetings.

This structured sober community creates an opportunity for guests to go deeper into underlying issues while living in a safe environment. Studies prove that the longer someone can be engaged in the treatment process, the better the outcome in terms of sobriety and quality of life.

The Extended Treatment Program is open to both men and women. They reside in separate recovery residences on our grounds, and treatment occurs both in the residences and in Fellowship Hall's main building. The women's residence is referred to as Hazel's House and the men's residence is called Zander's Place.
