The Medical Director, a board certified psychiatrist, supervises a staff comprised of other physicians and registered nurses. At admission, the staff assesses the physical condition of the guest (patients at Fellowship Hall are our guests) including detoxification needs. Detoxification protocols ensure safe withdrawal. All guests receive a thorough medical and clinical evaluation, and an individualized treatment plan is developed. The physical condition is monitored and treated as needed. The guest is encouraged to assume responsibility for continuing his/her own health maintenance after discharge, knowing that to take any mind-altering medications, either prescription or over-the-counter, would be dangerous to recovery.
