Fellowship Hall, a 123-bed private, not-for-profit specialty hospital offering abstinence-based alcohol and drug treatment based on the 12-Step Model of Recovery, located on a serene 120-acre country setting in Greensboro, NC, is currently seeking a full-time Female Outpatient Counselor to be part of a therapeutic team.  Position schedule will be full-time (40 hours a week), Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm.

Fellowship Hall has been established for over 49 years and enjoys a stellar reputation as one of the premier treatment providers in the country.  Our facility has been accredited by Joint Commission since 1974, and we offer inpatient care, detoxification, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, family programming, extended treatment, and structured living. We draw patients from North and South Carolina, Virginia, and 23 other States.

The Female Outpatient Counselor will be responsible for:

  • SAIOP
  • Individual, Family, Couples, and Group Counseling
  • Developing comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and referral coordination
  • Documenting treatment progress, orientation, discharge, and related records
  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment strategies and understanding of twelve step recovery model
  • Providing back-up service delivery in other programming areas as needed
  • Presenting Didactic Materials

Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field

Licensure/Certification: Required full licensure as LCSW or LCMHC; Prefer dual licensure as LCSW or LCMHC and LCAS

Minimum Experience: Two (2) years’ experience as a licensed clinician

Preferred Experience: : Experience in substance abuse counseling; knowledge of family dynamics; experience treating co-occurring disorders and an understanding of DSM-V diagnoses; EMDR training; computer proficiency
